Existence in colors
Carrots: This week we have gotten some color in life. We are packing carrots to Aarstiderne in three different colors: The normal orange (Nikki), a white (White Satin) and a purple (Purple Haze). It looks great, when they are mixed in the bags. And of course the taste is not bad either.
Potatoes: Now we are as far in on the season that we can sort the potatoes in sizes. We have a lot of pretty and big baking potatoes. The smallest (Baby potatoes), are very fine, so you can just put them right into the pot with the skin still on. This is why they are called boil-ready, and are a real delicacy.
Beetroots: This week we are packing beetroots too.

Rainy season in Denmark?
The weather is still a big challenge to us. It looks as if the rainy season has come. Usually we pack the potatoes right after we harvest them, but these days we have to dry them for a few days, to make sure they will not rotten when they are in the bags. This takes extra planning, because we have to be a few day ahead all the time
