At the moment we are working very hard on planning the next season on the farm. At first, we have to evaluate the last year. Did we sell all the crops that we have been growing? Did we make money on the different products? Is there something we can change and do better? Then we ask our customers about their whishes for the next season, (If you are a consumer, we would very much like to hear from you about this issue). There are a lot of things that have to match before the plan is done. It's important that we have the right rotation on the fields and that the soil is right for the crop we want to grow. When the plan is done and everything matches, we have to buy all the seeds, of the right variety and order all the plants we need. After that, we must make a plan of when to do the planting, seeding, harvesting and a lot of other things, so we can be sure to get everything done at the right time. On the paper, it all looks like it will be a good season for us, but there is still one thing that can get in our way: the Danish weather. That´s one of the reasons it's so inspiring and sometimes difficult to be a farmer.
