You need to be interested in Organic prodcution. A good background is to have experience with vegetables or to have an education as a farmer or a gardener. There are also possibilities to work as an unskilled worker. When we think about hiring full time employees, we want to hire people that will work here for a long time. It is important that you can work in teams. And you cannot be afraid of hard work and stressful situations. Forget about the romantic picture of an idyllic life on a farm. We are a production company, who needs to function effectively in order to survive in the market. We are also a company with values and a lot of organic experience, which you can learn from. One possibility is to go to the organic school of farming in the north of Jutland where you end up becoming a farmer. Then the time here with us works as "field time", and later you will have to work somewhere else to get training working with animals. The other possibility is to go to the Gardener School, south of Århus, where you end up becoming a production gardener within the outdoors. Here, you will have to train at more than one vegetable garden. The school is not so much about organic gardening, but far more about vegetables. During this time there are a lot of employees having their vacation. That is why we each year need some workers, who are available most of the summer. If you are studying and have a long vacation or something similar, send us a mail to find out more about work opportunities here during the summer. Weed Workers We start weeding the carrots at the end of May, and from this point on and a few weeks forward, we need a lot of young people under the age of 18. You have to be at least 15 years old, and you have to be able to come to work a few hours every day. Send us a mail or call, and we will sign you up for a weeding job.
